hi,
i'm currently working on the kit of the clara may and have just finished laying the deck.
the next item is the timber strip that is to run along the edge of the deck. it is a 2mm*3mm walnut, and seems both very stiff and very brittle. the instructions say lay from the bow bending into place. so far all this has achieved is to rip up the deck as i try to bend it.
can anyone advise how to approach this problem. in particular how to bend heavier timber strips (not planks)?
